REALTOR Magazine has compiled a list of the Metropolitan areas that families seem to be relocating to. In the mid-sized metro category (population 575,000 to 1.25 million) Raleigh/Cary, NC was listed in the top 3 most opportune locations for family relocations as well as maintaining a strong real estate market. Durham was favored in the top 3 of the small-sized metro category (population 350,000-575,000).
Cary was also favored 3rd on the list of Most Affordable Suburbs in the South, with a median home price of $242,300.
