Raleigh Real Estate Statistics Fall 2007

The Wake County real estate market is alive and well!

While there is still an abundance of homes on the market, making it more of a buyers market, I’m noticing that sellers are not afraid to list their homes. In my neighborhood alone there have been 66 new listings during the last two months. Of those 66 new listings 8 have already been sold!

Don’t be afraid of the market based on those nation wide news stories. I’d love to provide you with the most recent and accurate real estate statistics. Let me help you out this fall and winter.

Sellers: start prepping those homes for sale (read some of my tips). Buyers: consult a mortgage lender to learn your buying power…the negotiation ball is in your court! Please let me know if I can help.

2007 Parade of Homes

Each fall in Raleigh, the Home Builders Association of Wake County hosts the Parade of Homes. It is a fabulous event that allows anyone to experience some of the finest new construction homes in the county. I highly recommend visiting some of the fascinating “mansions” in the Hassentree neighborhood off of Highway 98 in North Raleigh. This event is three weekends long:

September 29 & 30
October 5-7
October 12-14

It costs nothing!!! Let me know if you want more information.
