Sold!!!
These clients are relocating to North Carolina from California. As their North Carolina Realtor I referred them to a Realtor in California to assist them in selling their existing home. It sold in record time (considering the lethargic California market) and for more than the list price! Let’s welcome them to North Carolina as they will be closing on their home here later this summer after construction is complete.

Real Estate Trends 2008 - Update
In the last two weeks there has been a lot of action in our local real estate market. You may very well be able to tell that just by driving through any neighborhood in Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, or the rest of Wake County. With the obvious stated, here are the numbers to validate:
# of homes put on the market in last two weeks: 1362
# of those homes already under contract: 76
# of homes now under contract listed prior to the last two weeks: 749
# of homes which have sold in the last two weeks: 765
According to the statistics homes are staying on the market an average of 3 months.
Check back soon for another update. I plan to keep these market updates a regular part of my blog!!
