Home Repairs Handyman
35 Tips for a quick sale #33
Don’t leave repairs for the buyer to discover upon the inspection. If you know there are repairs that need to be done, take matters into your own hands and fix them prior to putting your house on the market. If a buyer discovers even the smallest of necessary repairs during they’re first viewing of your home they may get the impression that you’ve neglected the home, leading them to wonder what else could be wrong. Replace the broken mirror in your bathroom, replace the rotten hardwood plank in the dining room floor, replace the broken hinge on the kitchen cabinet. Odds are you’ve overlooked these repairs for years and may have forgotten they exist. Ask a close friend to walk through your home and make a list of any possible repairs they would want fixed if they were the home buyer.
