Raleigh Real Estate Market Trends - Spring 2008
Well folks, spring is in the air! What was once a distant fantasy is almost a reality. While I have your attention, let me remind you that Sunday, Daylight Savings Time begins so don’t forget to set your clock one hour forward on Saturday night.
While spring brings longer days and shorter nights, it has always had the tendency to bring us a large number of new home listings as well. I don’t see this year as any different. In my neighborhood alone, 21 new listings have come on the market in the last 2 weeks. As of today, there were 1232 new listings in all of Wake County during the last 2 weeks.
This tells me that sellers are recognizing that the buyers are out. And todays buyers are fully aware that this is a buyers market. The number of new listings is very promising. Let’s see what the 2008 Selling Season has to bring!
